
Ingredients
- 2 cups + 2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
- 1 cup + 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large whole egg + 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Directions
- In large bowl, whisk flour, salt, and baking soda. Set aside.
- Melt butter and whisk sugars into it; set aside to cool.
- Whisk egg, egg yolk, and vanilla into butter/sugar mixture. Fold in dry ingredients and mix until just combined, then fold in the chips. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 min.
- Preheat oven to 325°. Place golf ball-sized dough balls on greased cookie sheets and bake for 12-14 minutes.
